Registration for Among the Pines 2024 will open March 11 and will close April 12, or when camp is filled, whichever comes first. Camp is full and registration is closed for 2024. Please check back with us next year.
Among the Pines Day Camp will be held at the Boulder County Fairgrounds from July 22-26, 2024. Camp begins each day at 9:00 AM and ends at 3:30 PM.
We will have a field trip on Wednesday, July 24th to nearby Golden Ponds Nature Area. Campers and staff will walk to Golden Ponds Nature Area from the Fairgrounds shortly after the start of the camp day on Wednesday and will return to the Fairgrounds in the early afternoon to finish out our camp day there.
Among the Pines, a day camp run entirely by volunteers, offers girls entering grades 1-7 a traditional camp experience, emphasizing campfire cooking, outdoor skills, camp songs, group games, and crafts. An overnight is offered on Thursday night for older campers (those who are entering third grade and above) who desire to stay. Each Unit at Among the Pines is led by an adult Unit Leader (UL) and assisted by an adult Unit Assistant (UA) and a teen Program Aide (PA).
